Our commitment
Rafterline Roof is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA across our public web pages and digital experiences.
What we’re doing
To support accessibility, we:
-
Use semantic HTML and WAI-ARIA where helpful.
-
Provide text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
-
Maintain sufficient color contrast and avoid relying on color alone to convey information.
-
Support keyboard-only navigation and visible focus states.
-
Provide headings and labels that are descriptive and programmatically associated with their controls.
-
Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.
-
Ensure forms include clear instructions, error identification, and suggestions for correction.
-
Offer documents in accessible formats upon request (e.g., tagged PDF, HTML, plain text, large print).
-
Review new pages and major updates for accessibility before publishing.
Known limitations and alternatives
While we strive for full compliance, some third-party features (e.g. embedded maps, analytics, call-tracking widgets, or scheduling tools) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. When an accessible alternative is needed, contact us and we’ll provide the information or service through another method (email, phone, or an accessible document).
If you encounter an element that is difficult to use, please let us know. We review all feedback and prioritize fixes in upcoming releases.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct periodic audits, fix issues we find, and train our team on inclusive design and content practices. Major site updates include an accessibility review as part of our release process.
